I had pink coloured urine today. i'm a vet so i did a dipstick and there was 2+ blood 1+ protein in urine. i have been having lower back pain?

UTI or kidney stone?: A urinary tract infection (UTI) or kidney stone would be at the top of my differential. Are you having any fevers? If so pyelonephritis would be of concern. I would get a urinalysis and urine culture to start.
