Give it Time: Hand foot and mouth disease, a viral illness from the coxsackie family of viruses, can have symptoms for 10-14 days. Ulcerations of the mouth are common and typically painfully. Your girl may not be expressing pain symptom anymore, or there may be another infectious process happening. If you continue to see "white bumps" seek help from your pediatrician.
