Hi! while taking ortho tri cyclen, (ethinyl estradiol and norgestimate) during the 2nd n 3rd row of pills. i dbld up every 2 days for 1.5 weeks due to missing.wht r my chances of pregnancy?

Possible: If you miss more than 2 days in a row your chance of pregnancy goes up even if you double up. Please use a back up method like condoms for the rest of the pack. Also if you miss your pills frequently this birth control method may not be right for you. You might do better on the patch you change weekly or the vaginal ring you change monthly, for instance.

Question hard 2 : Understand. If u missed 2 days of pills then doubled up u should be ok, highest probability u r not pregnant but check upt when time comes. Ocp failure rate higher b/c people don't take them correctly. The nuva ring may be a good alternative but it's unsure how many pills u missed by the question. Good luck.
