Natural tooth?: Your entire natural tooth or just the white hard enamel crown part that sticks out of the gums? If your entire tooth fell out and wasn't knocked out, you have gum disease and need to be evaluated. If the white crown part was broken, see a dentist to see if there is a way to restore what is left with a crown.

Not good: Assuming you did not experience any trauma to knock the tooth out, it is likely that you lost the tooth due to a large cavity, or severe periodontal disease. I highly recommend you see a dentist soon to avoid losing more teeth.
