A member asked:

Cold. i also sometimes get this light, achy pain in my wrist. is it possible that i have carpal tunnel syndrome?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually tingling: That's not a typical presentation. Carpal tunnel surgery is a compression of the median nerve at the wrist so symptoms involve that nerve and specifically sensory symptoms such as generalized discomfort of the hand, numbness and tingling on the thumb side of the hand as well as motor changes and specifically weakness of the hand especially involving the thumb.
