my wrist clicks every time i move it up and down. is this carpal tunnel syndrome?

No: Carpal tunnel symptoms include wrist pain and tingling in the thumb, index, middle and part of the ring finger. Wrist clicking may be from your tendons moving around or from fluid in your joints.

Also possibly ligament pathology. Carpal tunnel syndrome is mistakenly used by many people to describe just about any hand or wrist problem.

No carpal tunnel: Generally is not caused by typing or texting. This may make a existing case feel worse but this is not the primary cause.
