Will having an angiogram show all my arteries?

Never-Kidney Failure: Angiogram means blood picture; pictures show a 2d image, still or motion, of dye added into the blood, so that the dye/blood column shows on x-ray. The dye is filtered out by the kidneys over next few hours; too much will guarantee kidney failure, how much tolerated varies widely person to person. Also more areas looked at = more x-rays. Keep in mind: artery ds within artery wall & does not show.

No: The studies are usually localized to blood vessels related to history of symptoms: heart stroke walking pain etc some day we may see all of them but for now the radiation and the dye used have side effects.
