Depends: The pain from pin removal generally subsides pretty quickly. The pain you experience afterwards will be due to the bunionectomy, and depends in large part on the type of procedure you had done. Usually, you can have mild to moderate pain for 6 weeks or more after the procedure, but most people will be experiencing mild aching discomfort with swelling.

Very little!: Pin removal is usually a pretty easy, uncomplicated process. It's done in the office and after several weeks the pins are "ready" to come out, meaning your surgeon doesn't have to work very hard to remove them, and it shouldn't cause you too much pain. Discomfort from pin removal is usually gone with a day!

Should be improving: With every passing day the pain should decrease. Follow your doctors' advice to prevent potential complications.
