Need more info: Stage 3 = bridging fibrosis (scarring of the liver) which is the stage before cirrhosis = stage 4, so stage 3 is not cirrhosis, however you could have had complications like fluid build up (ascites), confusion (hepatic encephalopathy), vomiting blood (esophageal varices) that might make your "stage 3" an underestimate (meaning you might be close to stage 4). Discuss with your liver doctor!
