Depends: Can be many causes. The first, least expensive and safest thing is to get a get 15 min aerobic exercise of some type, every day for 2 weeks, see if improves. It is often nervous energy or mild muscle cramp. If it doesn't improve may want to get checked out.

Unsure: How old is your mattress? Is your mattress comfortable to you? How about your pillow? Does it give you adequate support? Have you had a change in your initial sleep position? Are you uncomfortable at the times you wake up. Use excellent hygiene.
