No more symptoms: When, pain, swelling, warmness and redness of the infected site resolves. Also you will have full function in that area if the infection is drained properly and the tooth is fixed or removed.

Clinical evaluation: The only way to cure a dental abscess is with dental treatment. If treated, the outlook is good. The pus can usually be drained and the tooth can be saved. Once the signs and symptoms are gone the abscess is considered cured.
