Possibly: No one can answer this question for you over the internet without an examination. Everyone requires different care; some patients need hygiene appointments every 3 months, others can wait a year or longer. Ignore your teeth and they will go away.. A 6 month recall will almost certainly give you a fighting chance to keep your teeth and gums healthy for most if not all of your life.

At the least: People often take better care of their car than their own health. They may wash and wax their car monthly, yet never have their teeth professionally cleaned. If you want to keep your teeth, see dds. See your dentist to accurately determine what is best for your oral health. We see patients on specific schedules to their needs (which could be) every 3, 4, or 6 months or even every 4 or 6 weeks!.
