Yes: Every time a dentist works on your teeth it is expected that you might have some sensitivity. It is important that it does not increase , but get better with time.

No: I have done thousands of veneers. Pain after is never an issue. Pain can result if the nerve is traumatized or the sealing (adhesion) process was not done properly.

See answer: Are you asking if, when your teeth are sealed just before the temporary veneers are placed, you could feel sensitivity? Yes, even sealed, you will likely experience some discomfort.
