It depends: It really depends on the shape of your teeth and how your teeth are lined up. In other words why do you have a gap? Is it that your teeth are toot small, is it because your arch is too big? A well trained dentist can asses the cause and recommend the best treatmetn for your condition. But your choices include orthodontics (move teeth), cosmetic bonding or porcelain veneers.

Orthodontics: Orthodontics would be the best way to fix a gap between your teeth. If you don't want to go through orthodontic treatment, you can have the gap filled by either bonding the teeth to make them larger to fill the space, or having veneers placed to close the space. Which treatment you choose will depend on why you have the space.

Consultation: There is no "best way" and we certainly can't tell you what to do without actually seeing you personally. Composite bonding, crowns, orthodontics, or usually a combination of these are often the solution. See a good general dentist or prosthodontist for a consultation and guidance as to your options.
