Unkown answer: The prescription is not the critical part of the equation. The number one concern is curvature and corneal thickness. This must be evaluated to see if it can be safely done. This is done with sophisticated equipment and computer evaluated. There may be other factors causing the prescription to be as you wrote that may require other types of refractory surgery.
