What is used for the implant in a cheek implant?

Cheek Implants: Cheek implants are usually either a solid silicone implant or a solid polyethylene implant. Another option is injectables which are temprorary, but allow you to get a fell for what it would look like.

Silicone: Generally the implants are a solid silicone. Fat and injectibles are also popular.

Fillers / Fat Graft: To give the cheeks a look that appears more naturally sculpted and full, I prefer to restore volume to the area by using cosmetic fillers or stem-cell enriched fat grafts.

Varies: I use silicone or silicone like implants, fibrinogen ice fillers, platelet enriched plasma but mostly I use the patient's own fat

Depends: Commonly the cheek implants are solid silicone or sometimes a porous plastic material. I commonly will use fat injections for a more permanent solution or various long lasting injectable fillers.
