Hopefully nothing: Silicone cheek implants, however, have an unpredictable occasional tendency to suddenly extrude even decades after placement. Expanded polyethylene devices tend to incorporate and become almost like bone. Cheek implants can effect significant improvement in facial aesthetic (incl nose over-prominence)but can also cause a change in character: "i don't look like me anymore".
