Maybe: My advice is to see a plastic surgeon, particularly one that specializes in craniofacial cosmetic surgery, because although cheek implants such as medpor may be safe, there are other safe options such as fat grafting using your own tissue.

Yes: When properly performed, cheek implants are a stable and safe way to augment the facial skeleton. Injectable fillers and a patient's own fat can be injected to fill out the soft tissues over the cheeks. See a facial plastic surgeon to determine which of these (or both) is right for you.
