YES BUT!!!!!!: Be very careful with that. Ask your dentist to demonstrate to you what the result will be. Once a tooth is pulled you cannot replace it.!

Yes: It is normally done in together with orthodontic treatment, although there are other reasons, too. Remember, once a secondary tooth is extracted, there will not be another one growing to replace it. Have your dentist explain the treatment plan before the extractions are begun.
