Certainly neck pain: can be symptom of strep. However, I would recommend you get back in touch with the treating physician. It does take 24-48 hours for an antibiotic to begin working for strep. Was the diagnosis confirmed by a strep test? You also may have a virus along with the strep. Please call you doctor and make sure they know your current symptoms.
