Dr. Gary Sandler
53 years experience Dentistry
More information: Does your child have allergies or a post nasal drip? There are many causes of bad breath, both dental and medical in origin. See the following website for more information and then if necessary have a consultation with a pedodontist and\or pediatrician as necessary. http://smilesapartcosmeticdentist.com/fresh-breath-control.htm.

Have you tried simple things like cleaning the tongue regularly?

Dr. Sandler is right on the mark. So some homework, as there are so many factors to consider... Who is doing the brushing? Tongue is often missed, but is a significant source of bad breath.
