A member asked:

What could cause breath to smell like milk, even after brushing teeth really well?

Breath problems: Brushing your teeth is great, but do you also floss at least once a day? When was the last time you had your teeth cleaned and examined? Start by seeing a dentist and if everything in your mouth is healthy then the next step would be an evaluation by your primary care doctor.

Bad breath: Bad breath can be caused by decay, infected teeth, infected gums, other mouth infections, diet, acid reflux, smoking. The first step is to brush and floss correctly, and to clean the tongue. Then review your diet and other oral habits. See your dentist for a thorough examination.
