Acne: First line of therapy for acne is ---retinol ( retinoic acid). The retinol in epiduo ( adapalene) is weak retinoid. Use retinoic acid 0.045% every night. Take precautions on hydrating yourself and using good sun block. Give it good one month, if no improvement, then try second line of therapy--- oral Doxycycline for three to six months.
