Communicate: Have the orthopedic surgeon call the radiologist. I am sure they can discuss the case and settle on curvature.

Less difference: Measuring scoliosis depends on landmarks used to measure curvature. Interobserver variation should be about 5 degrees. The orthopedic physician usually determines curvature that is used for clinical decisions, surgery etc. The same curvature is on image viewed by both physicians. Agreement should be closer as to severity of curve.
