Bursitis: This can get complicated because there are many scenarios to consider - did you fall on it, etc. In addition, it is also important where your pain or soreness is. If the elbow is sore in the back, then it is most likely a bursitis. If it is sore in the center then it may be arthritis. I would have an orthopedic surgeon evaluate the elbow.
