Most likely disc : Related pain in the lumber spine, that kind of radiation most likely due to problem in the lumber spine or sacroiliac joint on the side. Check it out.

Herniated disc: It is possible that you have a herniated disc. I would recommend you see spine physician for further evaluation.

This could be of : Spine origin in terms of facet joint issues or foraminal or nerve hole exit stenosis and less likely degenerative disc disease or it can be from an sacroiliac joint problem or a hip related problem like arthritis or bursitis or even a tendonitis like pyriformis syndrome.
