Absolutely: An increase in blood pressure is a very natural response to severe pain. See your dentist right away to get the source of the pain addressed.

No: High blood pressure does not cause a toothache! it sounds like you have a pulpitis, or inflamation of the pulp. This probably means you need to see an endodontist for a proper diagnosis, and probably a root canal! however any pain, including a pulpitis, can cause your BP to elevate temporarily, until your pain is relieved! hence a toothache is not a symptom of hbp. But it can be a cause!

Perhaps: There are many causes of a temporary increase in blood pressure, and certainly pain and stress are two of them. However, what would seem appropriate would be for you to see a dentist to determine the cause of you pain, and a physician to check you out medically. There could be other causes of your increased blood pressure. Untreated dental and medical issues don't get better on their own.

Yes: Pain is a definite cause of increased blood pressure. If the tooth is treated, and the high blood pressure persists, see your MD.
