See below: A sinus cyst may develop as a result of a sinus infection. To relive sinus headaches you should make sure there is no underlying allergy. Skin testing would be helpful. Medicines to reduce a sinus headache/allergies include steroid nasal sprays, antihistamines, mucinex, (guaifenesin) decongestants if there is no high blood pressure, and saline sprays.

Vicks: The best treatments are nasal decongestants, mucolytics, tylenol (acetaminophen) or motrin. One thing that I do when i get sinus pressure headaches is to rub Vicks on my forehead. Give it a try! it works for me.
