Too Many: Data on people's exact diet and eating habits can be difficult to collect. I would suspect that the majority of teenagers are eating a sad diet(standard american diet) which is high in processed foods, high in animal fats & hydrogenated fats, and low in fiber, low in fruits & vegetables & low in complex carbs.

Most: It's a large number, larger if you define a healthy diet very narrowly (low fat! no gluten! no sugar!) I am interested in my adolescent patients eating to ensure a moderate portion of protein, a good source of calcium, abundant fresh fruits and vegetables and limited processed food. I strongly recommend eliminating soda and fruit juice. White bread and white sugar, please limit.
