Depends: Meat is a source of essential Amino Acids and is considered a complete protein because it contains all 9 of the essential amino acids. It also contains saturated and unsaturated fats. It has vitamin b12, niacin, zinc, iron in fair amounts. Therefore, grass fed lean beef eaten once a week in a small portion would be considered a part of a healthy diet. The sardinians eat it and many live to 100.
