If we tie the two together, then some sort of inflammation or infection in the breast tissue with secondary changes in the lymph glands in your armpit makes some sense. Infection may be: You may have an abscess in your breast that is also causing lymph node swelling in the axillla you should consult your doctor or go to er, as you may need antbiotics till than put warm soaks on the breast.
