Likely seromas: After having breast implant surgery, fluid can build up around your implant. This is known as a seroma and is fairly common. In severe cases, further procedures may be needed to drain away the fluid. However, seromas usually resolve without needing to be drained.

Possible seroma: If you feel there are abnormal fluid collections around the implants be sure to see your plastic surgeon. These may need to be drained but if they are not infected usually will resolve on their own.
