Don't think so.: What does your oncologist think? Treatment of cll is not based on numbers alone. Treatment is indicated for advanced stage disease, high tumor burden, severe disease-related "b" symptoms ( fever, chills night sweats, weakness, wt loss) or repeated infections.

Not based on numbers: What determines the need for treatment is the development of severe symptoms-such as weight loss >10%, profuse (not mild) sweats, fever, significant enlargement of lymph glands, low red cells, low platelets, and rapid doubling time of the leukemic cells (6 months or less). Cll patients need follow up at regular interval, precisely to monitor the possible need for therapy.
