Not likely: Caused by the epidural. An exam by a neurologist and a diagnostic study(ct or mri) should help you figure out what's going on.

See below: This is probably not related to the epidural. However it does seem that there is an irritated nerve in that area. This could be from pulled muscles, but could also be from a herniated or bulging disk. Nsaids and resting could take care of this problem. Exercise might make the condition worse at this time. If the condition does not improve i would consider asking spine surgeon for opinion.
