No: Other than being an annoyance at times, you are unlikely to have other difficulties. Also, an overflow of tears is a safer state than the consequences of dry eyes.

Epiphora: Epiphora is not harmful but can be annoying. If it persists, ask your doctor about other alternative treatments or flow controller plugs (which only block 70% of tear drainage and may eliminate the epiphora.
