Depends on level: Most would watch level 1-3 reflux for a period as they tend to improve over time. Level 4-5 will seldom improve enough to prevent long term complications. There may be additional factors that come into play that your treatment team must include in their recommendations. Communicate openly with your rx team & learn what you can about pro's & con's.
