Can't wait or hold: Urge incontinence is the involuntary loss of urine when you can't postpone or wait to get to the restroom. This is different from stress incontinence, the leakage you get when you cough/sneeze/laugh and also different from over active bladder (oab) & urge/frequency - when you need to urinate often. Usually treated with medications after small work up to make sure it's not other. www.peedoc.com.

Strong urge: The most common symptoms of urge incontinence are a strong urge or feeling that you need to empty your bladder and frequent urination. Often women do not make it to the restroom without an accident. Many women wake up frequently at night to urinate. Avoid foods that irritate the bladder like caffeinated and carbonated beverages. Initial treatment is drug therapy.
