Tendonitis: Pain when the tendon is under pressure movement is restricted affected area is painful when moved or touched burning sensation around the affect area affected area is swollen, red, warm or lumpy the tendon sheaths may be visibly swollen from the accumulation of fluid and inflammation.

Signs of tendinitis: Include swelling, decreased motion, crepitation which is palpable or even audible creaking in the tendon, pain with motion or deviation, redness, increased warmth of the affected area, stiffness, weakness and even at times complete loss of all motion.
