Calf raises: The exercises usually involves a downward motion of the foot and ankle against progressively increasing resistance . Toe raises with body weight and then add more progressive weight by holding on to dumbbells as you become progressively stronger. Hill climbing, walking on a treadmill at a high incline, stepper machines, can also be helpful.

Calf definition: There are some excellent pliometric exercises that help dramatically with toning the backs of the legs and ankle areas. A healthy and active lifestyle really pays off!
