No: No, dental hygienists have no use for Botox for the kind of work they do. And in most states, if not all, only a physician, a nurse, or a dentist can do Botox injections.

No: Botox is a tool, it can cause beneficial effects as well as problems. I would insist a physician administer my treatment. There are plenty of well trained physicians that inject botox.

Botox: Of course not. Please clarify your question. Dental hygienists are not allowed to administer Botox for any reason.

No: As far as I know there are no dental procedures that utilize Botox. The restrictions for who is legally able to inject Botox varies by state, but I don't imagine that most states allow hygienists to inject Botox (my state does not).

Can a dental nurse train in botox & dermal fillers?
Pain under jaw in submandibular gland, CT ,mri and dental X-rays normal. DX of salivary gland problems or oromandibular dyskinesia. Would botox help?
