A member asked:

Pain under jaw in submandibular gland, ct ,mri and dental x-rays normal. dx of salivary gland problems or oromandibular dyskinesia. would botox help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Perhaps, but: It makes more sense to find out what is the cause of the pain and dyskinesia. The most common cause for such pain is an unresolved infection draining from an unhealthy tooth. Dyskinesia can be a local factor related to the TM joint or a systemic factor, such as a stage 2 Lyme Disease manifestation like Parkinsons Disease or MS.
