Not unusual but: It is not unusual to see a bit of blood- tinged mucus about 7-10 days after adenoidectomy. This is about the time that the scrabbling after surgery starts to come off. If you see more than a teaspoon of blood, you should call your ENT for advice. You should follow the post operative instructions given to you by your surgeon.
