Recently diagnosed with sle. what constitutes kidney involvement? is this always serious? should low blood counts be addressed with medications?

See below: Kidneys can be involved. Get urine analysis for protein and blood cells in the urine. Also blood test for bun, creatinine will help with diagnosing kidney problems. As far as low blood counts are concerned, medications should be used.
