A member asked:

I have sudden vertigo, i counseled my ent dr, he said that a problem in the inner ear, he gave me betaserc, symptoms doesn't relieved, i need a solution?

Try sub-specialist?: For vertigo that did not respond to treatment from an ENT or neurology doctor, one should return to the doctor for follow-up. Another option is to look for a sub-specialist, which would be an ENT doctor who specializes in inner ear disorders and vertigo, or a neurologist who specializes in that area. These may be called neuro-otologists, and may be harder to find outside of major medical centers.
