Any: Whatever is most comfortable for you. Most sleep best on their back, as the jaw is not pushed to the side. See what works best for you. Good luck.

Depends: What type of mouth guard do you have, if it is one of boil and bite, probebly you will have hard time to wear. Find a neuromuscular dentist to fabricate one for you which it will be very comfortable to wear.
