Telephone: You should use a telephone to call a gum specialist, a Periodontist, before you try any additional physical intervention. Gum (and underlying bone) loss can be caused by clenching/grinding, gum infection, overly aggressive brushing/flossing, Meds, malocclusion, systemic disease, or many other causes. You need professional specialist help. Ask your Dentist for Periodontist's colon tact info.

Bone Loss: I hope you are under the care of a periodontist. If you have recession and enough space to use a proxabrush, by all means do so. It will help keep the area clean and inflammation down, but will not help with your clenching, grinding, or overzealous brushing. Follow your periodontist's directions.
