Complicated: The first question is where this came from and why? Spontaneous hematomas are a little worrisome. Once they are there it may take a lengthy timefor the body to resorb this, and in some individuals they may be left with permanent discoloration of the skin at that site, since absorbing all the pigment may not occur.

Need attention: Hematoma will be absorbed spontaneously. Some might get calcified which in this case will be painful. Talk to your doctor.
