A mole on my inner thigh has developed a bruise around the outside. the bruise is light purple. the mole is slightly raised.

Possible Biopsy: Given your age, the lesion is most likely benign but without seeing it, it is difficult to tell. It could be an unrelated bruise from minor trauma. Therefore i would make an appointment to see a dermatologist or plastic surgeon in three weeks for a biopsy. During your wait, if the bruise resolves and the mole ends up appearing exactly as it did prior to the bruise, you can consider canceling.
