A member asked:

If someone has multiple spider angiomas, could it be linked to their liver?

Yes: Especially if they appear fairly abruptly. But there are more reliable signs of liver problems. Hyperthyroidism can also make the little spiders pop up, and some people have them "for no reason.".

Possibly : Spider veins could be a sign of liver disease if they appear fairly abruptly. Hyperthyroidism and other hormonal problems can also make the little spiders pop up, for no reason. There are more reliable signs of liver problems. Most spider angiomas are not associate with any medical condition.
