Anxiety: Not sure what medications you been on but i would follow your doctors recommendation since he will monitor your progress.

Agree: If you are bipolar, then much of the anxiety is related to mood instability. Depakote is a mood stabilizer and will indirectly decrease anxiety by stabilizing mood.
